One of the toilets won't stop flushing.
One of the toilets won't stop flushing.
On the northside light pole, two of the five lights are out.
On the basketball courts, one of the hoops is missing the crank to raise/lower the basket. I've seen individuals manually raise and lower it by using a similar piece to the cranks, but having the crank replaced greatly enhances the usability of the courts.
Pictured above: the view from a bicycle seat as cyclist (on a bike path/sidewalk) approaches the circular loop at the southern end of the Grimes/Patterson parking lot. (Note: the problem I want to highlight is similar when cyclist is heading south towards that "roundabout" from the north on the bike/ped path). And the problem is this: a cyclist can easily not notice until too late that there is no curb cut to allow easy entry to the loop. YES, for safety reasons, the city probably decided NOT to be a curb cut there. Fine. BUT PLEASE, consider a very visible barrier so cyclists can see in advance that they should not proceed forward OR, at least, put some bright yellow paint or striped yellow-black paint on the curb as an attention grabber. Needed on both the south side of the loop and the north side. THANKS!
Around 8:45 this morning, I encountered a strong stench coming from the woods to the west of the B-Line Trail in Switchyard park between lampposts 20 and 21. It smelled like rotting flesh. Could someone please investigate to make sure it isn't a hazard or concern?
You made sure to label single use restrooms as for "all genders" but in throwing up the rules at the park, you made sure to mention to not change diapers outside of the restroom. But none of them have the labels for changing tables. You are so worries about offending anyone, you left out parents. Great job. Signs would be nice. Or changing tables in each stall. Something so I don't have to lay by 1 year old on the concrete that people have peed on. Thanks
Half of the 8 light fixtures across the two light poles at Switchyard Skatepark are out and have been for quite some time.
I'm going to start a weekly inquiry for when the Switchyard Skatepark lights are going to be fixed. There are still many bulbs out and there are plenty of dark spots so skating past sundown becomes dangerous, despite lots of people still skating around that time.
The merry go round isn't going around.
Observed a drum (as in musical) situation in the creek just south of the Switchyard skate park. Can see the drum from the newer path/metal overlook bridge.
