I have complained 50 times in the last ten years about my neighbor overgrown yard especially the bamboo which I have to cut back every month or risk it taking over my yard , and in those ten years only one time has the city done anything . The owner was issued a warning in August I believe but she still hasn’t cut down the bamboo or the extreme overgrowth on our property line wich hangs over onto my roof. The Side walk on the west side of the street is over grown with weeds making it difficult to walk on the sidewalk.

I visit this area a few times a week and the yard as of late is looking less than appealling. I know 8" is the height limit and i am not sure it's that high but, the yard needs to be addressed. I do not like to complaint but, it is a nice neighborhood and i would like it to stay that way. Thank you.

What is the proper protocol for trash illegally dumped at the road? I got a citation as property owner that I have to clean up, stuff that was dumped in the street, according to the inspector most is in our yard so we have to clean it up. Which is a lie most is in your street and a little is in the tree plot. I don’t think I should be responsible to clean up what someone illegally dumped in your streets.

The home that I rent had a city rental inspection conducted in November. I was home and neither did the inspector inspect everything that is listed on the pre-inspection addendum nor did they speak with me. There are a few issues that I would have pointed out if given the opportunity. Most notably, as listed in HAND's documentation, it states that All required openable windows shall be capable of remaining open on their own hardware. That is not the case in this home and that was not inspected. Can someone please explain to me what the procedure is for inspections? There are other issues as well that I had erroneously assumed would have been inspected since they are on the list of what is required of a rental property to have in good order.These are not issues that are perhaps directly impacting me at the moment but I do feel strongly that the house should be in actual full compliance so as to protect future renters. Property owners who rent their property should be held fully accountable to what the ordinances stipulate. Is it because of COVID that the inspector spent less than five minutes "inspecting" the entire house? Thank you.
