JB Salvage. Looks like illegal burning. Smells like plastic/rubber.
A couple months ago the fire inspector came and inspected BBs market shared room with us the thrift shop where the sprinkler system and computer that monitors smoke or fire in the building. It has since been filled with all kinds of stuff that you can no longer access that panel if it was to go of.
The company has been relocating people to desks in hallways/walkways. The building seems like too many people and that it’s a risk. Just wanted to report to make sure employees are safe.
We recently moved in, and there is a cable (perhaps carrying power) that is wrapped around the tree in front of our house using a wire hanger. None of the utility companies we've contacted want to take responsibility for it. How do we determine the owner and get it removed?
Stageyard apartments allows residents to have grills on their small balconies despite this being against Indiana code, and also posing a fire and CO risk to other residents
The contractor that did the construction in the basement did it without permits, it also violates the fire code. This facility treats disabled individuals struggling with mental health and addiction.
Attempted to contact Center Point but had no luck. The gas shutoff valve in front of Inkwell has its handle not secured by a padlock. Needs to be secured before someone decides to play with it. Regards, Craig
Please advise if financial penalties were assessed to the VERVE Apartments at 1820 N. Walnut for false fire alarms on the following dates: Aug 21st and Sept 9th? Also, what was the determined to be the root cause of these false alarms and what mitigation efforts ensued? Thank you
This building is missing and has damaged emergency exit signs throughout the complex. Exposed live wires and light fixtures are rampant. The building's emergency system has been beeping an alarm for over two weeks.
While living at Terra Trace (321 E. 14th St) from 2020-2022 there were a lot of problems but one that should absolutely not be dismissed. I am disappointed that no one seems to realize the seriousness of this. On Aug 17, 2021, my neighbors set their stove on fire. Once I noticed the smoke smell, I went to the hallway to see what was going on and my neighbor explained what happened. They didn't know what to do so I pulled the fire alarm and it did not go off. I had to alert everyone by knocking on their doors to let them know the building wasn't safe and we needed to get out. I was told my claim was false and inaccurate. After some minor internet searches, I found that there was a fire here in 2011 (if I remember correctly) that killed a student. After finding this out, I knew I had to do more. I feel as if this apartment complex needs to be reevaluated for safety of the residents still living there. I will also be willing to provide more information, videos, etc about this incident. Thank you!
