Crescent Union Apts and Stryker Towing my vehicle was parked in visitors with proper tags ect...parked 3am by 11am it was gone. Stryker stated the leasing office requested it towed claimed flat tire.. it wasnt flat when I parked it there. The lot was riddled with broken glass. They also claim two vehicles same as mine both towed within 48 hrs timeframe...so many people whom already face financial hardship are getting their transportation taken and unable to pay fees. After two days it was already $265... that day I called was told they'd get back with me no one was there at lot to release my vehicle. It's now $1350 I'm medically frail and now stranded here homeless no way to get back to my hometown. Please help? Cresent Union Leasing Office requested my vehicle to be towed without any warning. My 2001 Chevy Tahoe was parked legally and within apts guidelines parked in their visitors parking lot approx 3am on or about June 17 and by noon the next day vehicle was gone. Stryker stated they requested the tow and when he arrived my back passenger tire was flat. Tire wasn't flat when I parked. I now have several photographs date time stamped their lot several piles of broken glass multiple days with no clean up. Unbeknownst to me when I parked and with no time to see or attempt to fix tire. So many stories of tenants and guest vehicles being towed at this complex people whom are already experiencing financial hardship lol sing your transportation...new management since. Very confused as to why when I have stopped in at City Hall past few days/weeks that I am being assisted by people I recognize from running different departments and assisting at other city public events. Do you not have dedicated receptionists - they clearly (since us active citizens attend city events) have a specific job in another area? Seems like a waste of resources when there are lots of complaints/requests on here that us citizens have filled out asking for help with rentals, problems with buildings, or even a complaint straight to the mayors office. Do you not have enough staff to run this city? Is this why our concerns aren’t being addressed?

I was downtown at the walnut street post office and the parking lot was overrun by homeless people who apparently were on some sort of substance. One was lingering by my vehicle and I was uncomfortable going to my car. There were tents all over the park into the post office parking lot. Can the Mayor PLEASE do something about the homeless situation? This is not the same Bloomington we had 4 years ago! I don't think I will be coming downtown for a while now.

street drain in front of 1309 South Lincoln is completely blocked and has been for Years..literally.. I could post a photo but don't know where to send it..A few years ago I reported this and the Department said they didn't see a problem.. THe water backs up over the sidewalk.. Obviously there is a problem..The puddle is about 40 feet wide and out into the street almost to the center

Hello, I am a resident and student who parks downtown on a daily basis Mon-Fri. I pay to park through Parkmobile, yet since January of this year I have received 4 parking citations for an "expired meter." The cause of the issue is that my [personalized] plate contains the letter "O", and parking enforcement officers continuously check for my plate using the number "0" without taking the time to ensure that it is spelled correctly. After the third occasion, I received a very nice note from the clerk's office stating that the city's parking enforcement officers would all be notified of this type of error, and that I should not have anything to worry about in the future. Despite this, Officer 333pm issued me my fourth wrongful citation yesterday. This specific officer has in total issued me 3 citations, 2 before the department-wide notice and 1 afterwards. I am greatly concerned about the quality of this officer's job performance. An individual who maintains the authority to issue citations and fines ought to observe this position with responsibility, and it has become increasingly clear to me that this officer does not respect their own position nor those who park downtown. I should not have to display a note in my vehicle's dashboard instructing officers on how to spell my license plate, nor especially should I worry every day that I will have another citation to appeal. This is negligence at best on behalf of Officer 333pm and does not reflect well upon the city's parking enforcement department. I write this report practically in desperation, as I am unsure of what other action can be taken to prevent more wrongfully-issued citations that waste Bloomington's time, effort, and money.

After removing invasive species yesterday with the city, I picked up about 90 pieces of trash, mostly beer cans along North Dunn between Clover and Lakewood. Would it be possible to post a sign that would address littering? Most of the litter was on the east side of the road.
