One of the fence posts along the Polly Grimshaw Trail has become loose at the bottom. The post is noticeably wobbly as is the fencing in that area. My guess is that the post rotted out approximately where it goes underground and needs replaced. Please address this issue now so that the fence doesn't fall down in this area.

Ugh I’m sorry to have to bother again! I understand there are far more important issues to be tended to but this is just getting ridiculous honestly. Once again I can hear the generator sound running and has officially yet again awaken my kids. My kids have school in the morning and I honestly don’t know what else I can do about this situation. If the electric bill is their issue and the SCCAP office is literally right in walking distance then maybe they should seek assistance to get help paying it. Again I’m very sorry to bother your officers with this issue once again.

The Lincoln Place condo trash bin is full of neighbor's trash that they dump in our trash bin. We have the labels and the names of the people who have been violating the ordinance. Please email me so we can arrange a time to discuss this. Or call my office line: 812 855 8973. Thank you!!!

Approximately 30 yards eastward from the stop sign at E Post Road and N Staats St, in the westbound lane of Post road, is a 12" wide by 33" long rectangular indentation originally dug by a contractor and then filled in. The fill has since subsided by one to two inches throughout. Hope it can be topped off to make a smoother street.

The stop sign posted at the corner of our lot (where E Gilbert Dr and N Laverne Dr intersect) is missing. Currently, the post is standing with no sign indicating "STOP." As this is a hazard to the vehicle and pedestrian traffic in our neighborhood, would it be possible to replace the sign quickly?

I work in the County Government Center on the north end of the Showers Building. The HVAC unit associated with the City of Bloomington Government Center is creating so much noise that it is audible in my office. This is a public nuisance. Even to walk into the Showers Building at the 10th Street entrance is almost unbearable due to the screeching, incessant noise. Nobody should have to hear that awful noise.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to some peace and quiet. Curious to know when this HVAC unit was installed and if it is slated for replacement anytime soon.
Parking Meters and Citations
334 W Georgia AVE
- Case Date:
- 5/8/2024
I was incorrectly fined for a citation that wasn’t in my right of way. I parked in this spot facing the opposite direction as I came from that direction along the TWO-WAY street and leave facing the direction I would park, which is viable and accepted by the Park on Morton residency, as there are frequently and normally others who park the same way. Furthermore there is no parking meter placed in which I could be fined as I have the parking pass in which I pay $100 monthly for parking services. I park in this spot often, my residence town home is directly adjacent to the spot. I asked the Park on Morton office about if this fine was viable, as I wasn’t on street ground or city property next to any meter and was unhinging street conduct, they reassured that I was upset in feeling wronged for my claim as my parking permit entails that I park on street property regardless of direction valid since it’s a two way street and it isn’t within their conduct. My appeal was upheld but basically I parked in a way that I’ve parked many times previously, other cars park both directions all the time especially down that curved road that only leads on to the property which is why I’ve been reaffirmed by the office that isn’t even parking city services area and that they don’t have a right.
