I would like to report a dead city tree in the tree strip in front of my house. Tree site ID: 27963. The tree is—or was—a flowering crabapple, and it has died over the past few years. My house is located at a fairly prominent intersection, and I worry that the tree will be a hazard as it decays. Blair Johnston

This racecar track has been left on the sidewalk for several days. Toys at this residence are normally a minor problem, but I had to walk in the road to give room for a dog and its owner to get by.
Given that we are all house-bound and many of us are taking advantage of this to begin our spring yard clean up early, could the city move yard waste pick up to one week earlier? We have done so much work that our garage is full of bags and would love to do more, but are limited because we have to wait two weeks for the regularly scheduled April 13 pick up. It would be a great service to the community to have this early start and encourage more of us to get outside which is much healthier than staying in, beautifying our city while following stay-at-home orders. Why isn’t the city addressing the deer population? They are a nuisance, attacking my dogs and destroying property.
The green park bench on E. Southdowns just to the west of the intersection with Highland Avenue (near 1212 E. Southdowns Drive, on the north side of the street opposite the houses) has been damaged. The bench is off of its base/legs and just on the ground now. This could use some help to gets its legs back under it so people can take a load off of their legs and rest!
