Nearly every year, in early February, the sewer backs up into my basement. The engineer reported that it is caused by large volumes of grease dumped into the sewer after Chinese New Year, then the cold, causing fatbergs to form just beyond the access at the end of the street. My basement is the lowest, so I get hit. In recent years, preventative cleaning has been scheduled–last year it did not back up! I'd like to make sure that happens again, to prevent a fifth annual sewer flood at my house. Thank you!

A Roto Rooter plumber opened the two manholes on the street in front of my house and said that the sewage line it isn't emptying appropriately. This can cause serious problems. Would you please check on that issue? Thank you.

Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428 Please take a look and consider appealing this. Nobody has taken our recycling in a month. We have a lot. But not overflowing. Why aren’t you guys picking it up and our neighbors too?

Recycling not picked up. No note was left. All other cans on the street were picked up. I am confused as to why I am paying for a service that was not rendered. Why was my recycling 'denied' and yet, no notice or message? If this continues, come pick the recycling bin up, as I have no need for this service.
