invasives and other brush along Side path on South Sare from Buttonwood to Rogers is badly overgrown
A hole has opened up in the paved sidewalk just east of the Meadowlands apartment complex drive along the north side of rogers road. A metal disc had been covering the hole, but the hole has widened and the cover has fallen in. I live in the Spicewood neighborhood and walk this way frequently--it could be really dangerous for a bike or child walking.
Portapot and dumpster has been in the road for years. Owner is burying very large brush piles, several trees on city property along creek, this is occurring in a floodplain also. They have installed lights on the front and rear of home that are extremely bright.
Small tree and debris fell in culdesac. We cleaned it up into a large pile but it's in the culdesac and needs to be picked up.
Since about June/July last year, karate class is happening in my culdesac. At first it was a single student lesson, but then it turned into multiple students and multiple classes a week with parents/cars lining the street. There were 2 classes Sunday, another yesterday evening, and 2 more today. I'm almost positive the guy running classes is from MCMA which closed its dojo doors during the pandemic. We felt like this was okay when it started. One of the kids lives next door and it was one class here and there, but this is kind of getting out of control. I don't want to ruin it for the kids who are getting some activity, but I don't understand why they don't do this in the park. I guess my question is is there any problem with someone teaching karate classes in a public culdesac?
Rental house (too many renters) across the street from us facing Sare Road (right by Spicewood II sign) has a large sectional that has been sitting in driveway for a month. This is a nice neighborhood not accustomed to seeing debris sitting in driveways. There is also a large box truck that is continually parked on the grass. This is what happens when rentals are not inspected….the decks are falling off & the gutters are drooping…totally unacceptable. Thank you for checking on this situation. Please get back to me. This lawn has not been mowed at all in 2020! Is the city EVER going to enforce the code and do anything about it?!!!
Growth is much higher than the 8 inch limit for a neighborhood yard. With the amount of rain we’ve had this summer, I’m concerned that this overgrowth could eventually become a health hazard.
Tree broke and is now suspended upside down in another dead tree next to creek in Spicewood. Hazard to local kids who play in the area.
