A large tree branch is blocking the street.
A large tree branch is blocking the street.
The sidewalk on the NE corner of Forrest and 11 is not accessible. It has a severely steep grade and bank (one corner is much higher than the opposite). I would not travel along the block on the North side of 11 between Forrest and Walnut Grove because of it.
Just north of the bus stop on College Ave by the Sunflower II apartments at 1015 N College, the manhole cover was flopped over and everything wide open as shown in the picture.
Street light broken off, pitch black area at night
These piles of debris have been blocking this sidewalk for several weeks.
Pothole near the intersection of Monroe Street and Gourley Pike in the eastbound lane.
There are two potholes in the eastbound lane of West Kirwood Avenue by Rose Hill Cemetery that are growing rapidly. Road base material is exposed.
Privately owned businesses on the north aide of the 100 block of E Kirkwood — a public street —have completely blocked off the entire width of the street, making it completely inaccessible to bicycles. When Kirkwood is closed to car traffic, the public street still needs to be shared space and not dedicated exclusively to private business owners of the Uptown and the Farm restaurants!
Restaurants on the north side of the 100 block of E Kirkwood are completely taking up the ENTIRE STREET. Pedestrians can still use the sidewalk, but what are bicycles supposed to do? Restaurant outdoor dining tables are curb to curb (and out of 35+ tables on a Sunday afternoon, exactly 1 table had customers.) It would be a lot better for private businesses to set up to SHARE the public street rather than make it impossible for bicycles to get through without taking a detour or dismounting.
There are many potholes and dangerous areas on E. 5th St. that need to be repaired. This is in the Green acres neighborhood and it is east of Hillsdale Dr.
