Gourley Pike between Arlington Rd and Monroe Street is terrible! Potholes everywhere, a most uncomfortable and unsafe drive!
East Gourley Pike between Monroe Street and Arlington Road is filled with deep potholes.
Potholes galore
This street desperately needs a “no parking on side of street” sign. People visiting are parking on the side of the street, on top of sidewalks, and partially in the road. The drive is very narrow. Please put up a no parking sign so we can enter/exit our driveways
Extremely rough and uneven damaged pavement and potholes on Dodds Street between Rogers and Walnut Streets. Entire area needs repaved
I’d like to report what seems like a noise ordinance violation (apologies if this is the wrong place, I couldn’t find a fitting category). Over the last week I’ve noticed a very loud beeping that seems to be emanating from the Catalent area or maybe the construction site beside it—I know noise is notoriously difficult to triangulate so I could be wrong about this part. It sounds similar to a truck backing up—evenly spaced beeps about a second or two apart—and runs seemingly all hours, though not every day. I hear it today, 3/29, and it was happening yesterday and for several days earlier in the week and over last weekend. It’s quite loud here on the westernmost block of Dixie and makes it hard to sleep or do things outside. I’m often up in the early hours of the day, between 1-4am, because I have a baby, so I’m certain it’s running way later than is acceptable for a loud noise. I will send another report if I gain any clarity about the source of the noise. Thank you!
The side of the street closest to the school is completely blocked off during school pick up times. Cars are not allowed to go around the line of traffic that is sitting there. This is an extreme hazard and emergency vehicles are not able to get through. There are also cars illegally parked across from the school on South Sunflower Dr.
Where the Clear Creek passes under the Country Club Dr. bridge there is a large amount of tree debris which is creating a dam. This is putting additional stress on the bridge during rain events as it is physically pushing on the structure. The tree damn is also collecting large amounts of trash and the situation is worsening with every rain.
