Dead animal (racoon?) on the bank on the east side of the bridge/creek.
Dead animal (racoon?) on the bank on the east side of the bridge/creek.
The debris dam on the creek below the bridge between Sherwood Oaks Park and Olcott Park has become even more effective. The water level at the bridge is visibly higher, and so much water is now being held back that there is a waterfall over one end of the dam. There has been more erosion of the flat land along the creek at the base of the trail through Olcott Woods. It is likely that the abundance of leaves in the creek this winter (from people disposing of leaves in the creek?) has made the dam more effective.
Quit purging the location history of the complaints for seminary park. It’s obvious the city is doing so to limit what the public can see for various political/legal reasons. Someone needs to find out who is responsible purging these reports and that person needs held accountable. This cities agenda is so one sided boardering being illegal. Your “public” meetings requiring voices and votes (parks and recreation) are only promoted and people made aware through very liberal means/programs. I’m sure someone will just delete this post almost immediately but I hope my voice gets heard to as many as possible until then.
Social gathers > 15 people not allowed per mayor! 30-50 people there with no mask on 10/13. Also tons of trash, clothing, blankets, tents, etc abandoned in park.
See picture. Previous problem still going on! Daily! Not only is there tons of trash and a large social gathering, there are daily fights, drug use, etc. There are tons of laws being broken daily. “resolved” means they are fixed. They are not and have been going on for years! Bloomington tax payers want their city and parks back! It’s your job Paula McDevitt. If you don’t want to do it, step down. You are being held accountable. The law is the law and not up to your opinions/discretion.
This park has become very dirty. Very overrun and an eye sore to the city.
Tents up overnight and people in park past time park closes.
Tents up overnight. Lots of trash. People breaking all kinds of laws. Looks like dozens of different people have reported similar problems. Why, over a period of several years can nothing be done? Seems like this needs to turn into a legal battle since the city who gets paid by taxpayers and is required to uphold laws and rules we agree upon refuses to properly address this problem.
Lots of people sleeping in the public seminary square park overnight. I was under the impression this isn’t allowed. Also lots of people littering and drinking alcohol in this public city park.
