My name is Lauren, I am the Facilities Manager at Middle Way House. At 6 am this morning- all of our parking spots on Washington (between 3rd and Smith) were blocked off. My name is Lauren and I am the facilities manager at Middle Way House. Yesterday afternoon I found a gas string trimmer tucked behind some bushes in our garden bed. This seemed suspicious so I brought it inside. Does this belong to the landscaping crew?
There is a stop sign that was knocked down and hasn't been put back up at the T-intersection across from the La Quinta. I have nearly been hit when people haven't stopped where the stop sign used to be. Without it, there is currently a T-intersection with no clear indication of who has the right of way or who has to stop. Please get the stop sign replaced. Thank you!
The corner of 3400 S Walnut Street Pike and East Burks Drive is not safe. Weeds and Tree by Mail Box block oncomming view of traffic coming from the south. It's a hill and if you want to pull out from the stop sign, it's very hard to see on coming cars. I use that corner all the time. Unsafe. I live off Burks Drive on 3506 S. Burks Ct.
Street lamp had been out
There is a green Ford Explorer that parks on or beyond the yellow line on the curb at Smith and Euclid. This often blocks safe access through that intersection. They are currently parked there. There are numerous children in the neighborhood that use that use Smith Ave as pedestrians, and it’s difficult for cars traveling south on Euclid to see them.

Sidewalks needed on Walnut St. Pike between Winslow and Rhorer Rd. There are brief stretches of sidewalk on different sides of the road, forcing pedestrians to choose between making a dangerous street crossing to stay on a sidewalk or to walk in a ditch. Winslow and Rhorer are both pedestrian heavy areas. This issue will only get worse when the new subdivision is built.
