Excessive growth is hiding the stop sign on High st and Southdowns. the growth also makes it very difficult to see southbound traffic on High Street from Southdowns. It is also an invasive species (Asian bush honeysuckle).

Feels unsafe to walk trails during the day, numerous homeless people were seen on the sidewalks strung out on drugs. I noticed that the campers were coming out of several encampments throughout the trail during our walk. Also, just curious why the homeless camps have signs posted" private no trespassing" at various locations on trail? Are they on actually on private land or is it owned by the city? This was my first time at the trail and I'm sadden why such a beautiful park that was built with tax payers money has become a haven for the homeless community.

Just a suggestion, it would be helpful to have a crosswalk from Bloomington HS South from or around the faculty parking lot and or where the busses line up to a side walk. Currently, students are just crossing the street and it’s really unsafe.

Today I've decided to complain about an issue I started regularly noticing months ago. Whoever is now collecting trash &/or recycling on our street, S. Eagleson Av, in the section between 2nd and Sheridon, is routinely dumping the recepticals on their sides on the ground whereever convenient. (See photo) This morning they left my neighor's on the ground blocking the entry way to our common driveway. When I came to move it, I realized they had also broken the lid. Then as I drove south on S.Eagleson, I saw that this was done all the way to Sheridan, where I assume the truck turned. At least half the bins were on their sides, some in the street. I took four photos the whole way, as well as two of my neigbor's receptical- Unfortunately your portal only allows a single photo, but I have all the others. Please address this situation. There is no reason the recepticals can't be placed upright, but at least they should be neither broken nor left on their sides in the street, on a sidewalk or in the entrance to a driveway. I live in Downtown Bloomington, and I really appreciate the Kirkwood street closures during the summer! I think they add a lot to the character of Downtown and make pedestrian access much easier. That being said, the t-shaped intersection that is created at Kirkwood and Walnut has become dangerous to pedestrians. Cars are not yielding to the pedestrian walkway, and I've been almost hit by cars that are not paying attention making a left turn while trying to cross the street twice in the last week. I think it would work better for everyone if there were a staggered light so that pedestrians were able to cross when no cars are trying to make a left turn. While that would slow down traffic, it would make things much safer for pedestrians, and I would feel safe walking in my own neighborhood again. Thank you for your consideration!
