Wide area falling apart at the corner of Cottage Grove and Walnut Grove. This area has been patched before and may need some more extensive work.
On the signs near the parking area outside the psychology building on N Cottage Grove Ave it says that parking needs to be payed until 6pm but on a few occasions I have accidentally left the meter running past 6 and am still charged for the parking after six (one example of this happening attached). Is there any way to get a reimbursement for the times this has happened? Or at the very least stop charging people after the 6pm time
Two deep potholes at the corner of Walnut Grove and Cottage Grove.
Please see both #182475 and #182390. The light was replaced a block west (Cottage Grove / Washington intersection), but the purple light is still there at Lincoln / Cottage Grove. Was Duke made aware of this light, also?
Trash bin(s) sitting by street
water is off for a second morning in a row
Street light on during the day on southwest side of intersection.
Our neighbors that live at the home on the NW corner of 11th & Lindbergh have water that flows from a spot near the sidewalk on Lindbergh and pools down at the intersection. This morning it was a strong flow. It pools and is causing issues at the end of the street & potholes are forming. It often smells like sewage. We have lived on Lindbergh since October 2018 and this became an issue in mid to late 2021. It did not always smell like sewer, but it has been more recently. We have noticed stronger flows more recently as well, whereas before it may have just been a trickle so we assumed it was stormwater from a sump pump or roof drain.
Most all of Maple Street is marked as No Parking, except a short distance before it intersects with 11th street. 2-3 cars consistently park in that short distance, fully occupying the right side of the road. Cars turning onto Maple from 11th cannot see when a car is approaching the intersection on Maple, and the cars on Maple are forced to stop on the opposite side of the road, causing near miss accidents daily and excessive honking. I would like to request that the “No Parking” zone be extended all the way to the stop sign as all residences (including the apartments in the photo) have designate parking areas. The intersection is also frequented by school and city busses, causing even more danger.
