The westbound stop sign at the intersection of s. Highland and e. 2nd street is obscured by vegetation, either on the property of 1307 e. 2nd or 527 s. Highland. I am routinely at this intersection and regularly see westbound cars slamming on their breaks, or running the intersection altogether. The plants and trees need to be cleared so the stop sign is visible at a safe distance. This is an accident just waiting to happen.

Is Pickwick still scheduled for repaving? I reported in April that rushing water has created an erosion of Pickwick at the front of my driveway, that is now about a 3-4 inch shelf that people have to drive over. I saw that someone came to Pickwick and did some patching, but only on the other side of the street, and did nothing with our problem. I do want to get my driveway re-paved, but want to see Pickwick repaired before I have that done. thanks for any help you can provide. Jim

Substandard service for trash and recycling pickup. The recycling crew has repeatedly turned the trash bin as if to indicate trash was picked up when it wasn't, and today the left the bin in the middle of the driveway. Why can't my bins be just put pack where I left them by the side of the driveway, as is done with all the other houses on our street? Perhaps we should just return the recycling bin, and save the money, and put everything in the trash?

As rain come downhill on the street, it sometimes overwhelms our drainage tunnel. Over the years this created a line of crumble in Pickwick, in the last two years this has become a serious hazard for bicycles, pedestrians and not too good for our cars. Is there a chance we could get some blacktop put down on this? I'll be taking bids to resurface my driveway this summer, and it would be best if the street was repaired before this work gets done. 1310 Multiple (~10) painted tires piled in the yard. There is an ordinance to prevent this due to the toxins released into our water system by decaying tires.

None of the sidewalks (where they even exist) on 17th 18th and 19th street between Dunn and walnut have curb drops. In addition, the sidewalks are completely unkempt and in places unusable. As a wheelchair user who works at City Hall, this poses a major threat to my wellbeing when trying to walk to work or elsewhere in the community.

Dilapidated house, looks like it is going to cave in on itself. Homeless people living in the house, needles on the property, wild bamboo growing on the property in addition to other excessive overgrowth. Needs to be checked out and taken care of immediately.
