The new audible signals downtown, especially at the intersection of 5th and Walnut, drive her crazy. She couldn't concentrate when reading on the square at lunch, and the insistence of the sounds drove her nuts. She likes the idea of accessbility for those who are visually impaired, but thinks this can be accomplished in a different manner.
Garbage is covering the porch and parts of the front yard. This has been the case for more than three weeks. I see you had an inspector on 12/22/99 at the property. Was the garbage there?
Ms. Wruble stopped by Pubic Works Department to voice her concerns regarding a line of sight problem exiting High Speed Tire Company. She was involved in an accident recently and she stated that she could not properly see oncoming traffic before she pulled out of the parking lot. She also stated that there is no sidewalk for pedestrian use and that cars park on both sides of Madison which also inhibits line of sight.
Baker represents the Winslow Farm Community Assoc., Inc. He would like the City to take over the street lights on Sweetbriar. These streets have not been accepted by the City at this time. Upon Mr. Baker talking to Tim Wininger, Jr. he was informed that "WSG has never asked for a final street inspection in any other subdivision why should they start now". He would like the City to inspect streets and take over the lights. Public Works is looking into the matter of the street lights

There are bags, as well as. lose trash on the property. This seems to be a constant problem. The trash problem has now attracted mice. The citizen has tried to talk to the people with out any results.
Mr. Barr is irate that there aren't a few parking spots reserved for citizens in the Farmers Market lot. He feels the City is treating the citizenry with disrespect by not reserving 5-6 of the Farmers Market spaces for citizens doing business in City Hall.
