As a rep of the HOA I spoke with owner at 3873 Laurel regarding the truck and trailer parked in the street and the complaints I have received. I suggested that he park the vehicle elsewhere so as not to block the street. He indicated in was OK with the city, he pays assoc. fees, etc. I believe this is likely in violation of 15.32.060. There have been 2 cars parked in the alley for over 24 hours and despite trying to make contact with those who live in 412 S Lincoln St, they have not moved their cars from the road. It is blocking my parking spot and access to my backyard. I have visitors coming who will get tickets if they do not move their vehicles from the road so I can access my parking. Additionally, there is a lot of through traffic in that alley so it may be a safety concern as well.
Three cars have been parked in the alley for several days now. I need to use that alley to access my parking spot on the side of my house. There is usually frequent traffic through that alley so I am sure it is a safety concern too.
Hello, This photo was taken this morning on Element Way, Bloomington, IN by the Mill apartments next to the Woolery off of Tapp Road. I am a resident in one of the townhomes nearby. There are traffic signs on my left in the photo that say “No Parking”, but as you can see people from the apartments are parking there still. They are also blocking the fire hydrants as well. This has been an issue before. This issue has almost caused accidents because it being a one car lane. The vehicles parking on the corners of the street are causing blind spots for people to turn onto the street. I’ve have made it aware to Adams Village before but nothing was done. People have also been parking in the alley way between the townhouses (garage side facing west) and the apartment complex off of Samuel Lane causing one lane traffic as well. I hope this is addressed to Adams Village. There seems to be not enough parking for those that live at the Mill apartments. I hope this is addressed and taking care of as this is a parking violation issue. Thanks!
One of the people that lives on this street has 4 cars parked bumper to bumper - obviously not using any of the cars. These 4 cars (one car, two SUVs, and a truck) are taking up lots of street parking that could be utilized by other people around this street. Although street parking is free on South Washington, these 4 cars are owned by one person and are never moved. If they were utilized more often, I wouldn't have complaints. It is obvious that someone has said something to the owner of these cars because they were spread out on the street a few weeks ago and they are now parked bumper to bumper. I am not sure if anything can be done about this, but I feel that is it unfair to take up 4 parking spots when parking is limited in Bloomington. Picture is not uploading.

Scooter blocking sidewalk, ADA violation
There is a Bird scooter abandoned at the corner of 1st and S. Sheridan. It has not been moved in over a week, other than when I have to pick it up out of the roadway.
