A few minutes ago, a white dump truck without City emblems stopped in front of my house. Two men got out and shoveled the leaves from the drain in front of my house and across the street into the drains. I thought we weren’t supposed to put leaves in the drain. The drain in front of my house is my adopt-a-drain, so it didn't have many leaves but the one across the street had more.
There is a massive amiunt of clearing going on on steep hillside above Jackson Creek. Behind their house and my client. She’s is quite concerned about the potential run off and damage to creek. There is heavy equipment and lighting at all hours, especially late into the night. She is very concerned about flooding it could cause to her property(on Rock creek), already low lying, and the health of the creek. There seems to be no permit visible at front of this property and it all feels quite under the radar. Please have a look and let us know if this is indeed allowed in Monroe county? The pavement along the front of our house is very uneven compared to the curb and many people have tripped or twisted their ankle. The end of our driveway is very bad too and it causes us to scrape the bottom of our cars
