I am writing to report a broken tree limb that poses a safety concern. It appears that the limb was damaged during the storm we experienced at the end of March 2023. The tree in question is located on city land outside of my property boundary at 1301 W. 8th Street in Bloomington. The broken limb is specifically situated at the intersection of Adams Street and 8th Street, where there is a significant amount of pedestrian traffic. The footpath visible in the attached picture is frequently used by pedestrians crossing from the sidewalk on Adams Street onto 8th Street. The presence of the broken tree limb in this area creates a potential safety hazard for pedestrians. Additionally, there is a slight concern that the broken limb obstructs the view of the Adams Street bridge for drivers turning right onto Adams Street from Fountain. This obstruction may affect the visibility of oncoming traffic, potentially leading to traffic incidents or delays. I kindly request that the relevant department of Bloomington takes immediate action to address this issue. It is crucial to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in the area by removing the broken tree limb and conducting any necessary tree maintenance or inspection. A tree has fallen down, in the back corner, of the graveyard near the walking trail to 8th Street. An additional tree next to it is leaning at about a 60 degree angle causing a potential hazardous situation if it falls.

There's a dead city street tree along Acuff Road behind 1158 Sugarberry Court. Also, city street trees along Sugarberry Court are hanging in the roadway and on sidewalks

One of the two trees in the City ROW in front of this house (the west tree) is almost completely dead with large branches high up that look like they could fall any minute onto something or someone. The east tree looks fine, except for all the vines growing on it that could be stressing it.

The beautiful Linden tree in front of our store (JL Water's) has been reported a couple of times now for dangerous hanging branches. The christmas lights from a few years ago are all that is keeping these some of these good sized branches from falling on pedestrians or cars. Please send somebody out asap, thank you. We love the tree and think just a trim is necessary!
