Since this building is no longer a garage, it seems that a full curb should be installed to prevent people from pulling up on the sidewalk. There are constantly cars parked on the sidewalk here (several feet in past the yellow painted curb (which is flattened because it used to be a garage). I asked the tenants to stop, and then today a dumpster showed up on the sidewalk. This is the North side of the "FAR" gallery building at fourth and rogers. Obviously this is frustrating to me but it's probably pretty annoying for the kid in a wheelchair who i see going back and forth to school and having to cross the street to get around.

Hello, I am writing you again to address the storm water issue we have in front of our property. It has been almost a year since the process of fixing this issue has started and it is becoming frustrating. We have been very patient, and we understand that there are priorities in the city but if this issue is not addressed the road will continue to erode and soon we will not be able to access our driveway. As I stated, we started the process in March 2022; we waited until September and submitted another ticket UReport 181323; this time the crew came and did some work (since we did not receive any information, we did not know if they are finished by the way they left the project for the past few months). I wish I could attach more photos of the "finished " project. Anyway whenever they cleaned the trench, the asphalt was scraped, and everything was left as is and every time it rains all the dirt and sediments go in the culvert clogging it. The rain today made everything worse, the culvert is clogged and the water is again on the street. It is extremely frustrating and disappointing. Below is the first email we sent on March 14, 2022 Hello, We are contacting you with hopes of getting some advice regarding the storm water stream that runs along E Vernon Ave in Matlock Heights neighborhood. There is a storm/ rain water stream( path) that runs under N Dunn Rd , goes west on E Vernon Ave and under Fritz Dr and eventually goes into a larger creek. Over the past few years this pathway has been deteriorating with some of the road erosion happening right before the water goes into the culvert under our driveway. The previous owner of our property added some rocks and blocks but it does not solve the road erosion problem. Although the map doesn't indicate it, there is a house on the corner that appears to be running a commercial paint company. There's a trailer with no less than 50 5 gal paint buckets and a storage trailer as well. Not sure if paint is leeching out of the trailer but it looks like crap in a residential neighborhood.

A house on my street has become a transition house for alcoholic woman. My opinion is that this primarily one-family house has become a hotel. This neighborhood isn’t zoned to all allow businesses. The resident at the corner of Morningside Drive and Park Lane is running a scooter business in his front yard and on the street. He also has a great deal of trash in his driveway, on the lawn, and along both sides of the house. The scooter business involves going around town, picking up scooters, and recharging their batteries. He has two trailers and at least one is always parked on the street. The trailer and the towing pickup typically jut out into the traffic lanes and create a hazard on an alreaddy overcrowded street. I request that the city take action regarding these complaints. Park Lane is a relatively heavy travelled road because it has no speed bumps. Adding these trailers into the mix is going to cause accidents....

The sidewalk in front of this complex (Townhouses on 10th) does not have ramps, just curbs, to cross the driveway to the complex. There is also a sunken area east of the complex entrance that is completely buried in dirt now (I'm not sure if it is on their property or on Woodbridge's, it is between). This makes it very difficult to walk through this area with a stroller and also makes it inaccessible to anyone unable to step down or up on a curb (and when it rains, the dirt-covered area turns into mud and gets pretty slick). There are some other areas that have shifted so the sidewalk is no longer even as well.

#170981 (Nov. 15, 2019) needs to be modified as follows: Help Wanted sign at the corner of Walker and W Second is gone; sign in the grass at the corner of Patterson and Second is still there, across from the Auto Glass store. Sign that was at the corner of W Second and Landmark is now lying flat in the grass in front of Sure Seal Contractors, no doubt to be put upright as soon as someone from that company spots it there.
