I've been traveling down paths away from said Bloomington and sometimes I miss the place. More often not. Bless you all and don't get too self-absorbed.
I thought bars in Indiana had to close and stop serving at 3:00 AM? Why does the city allow a business that has had numerous lawsuits & students DIE to get away with this? From Twitter on Monday, May 8: https://twitter.com/iubarstool/status/1655631384973803521?s=46&t=Vw6j-KU3Nc-OshdTTWorEg
You can deliver my car to me at 623 W Smith Ave Bloomington In 47403 or you bought it.
Hey its Zach with the Bloomington garages and our office in Morton street garage the light fixture is not correctly working and the lights just flicker now and never stay on.
I am a concerned citizen - the Kilroys Sports Bar was out of control Saturday night with drinks being served well into the early hours (5:00 AM). How do bars like this continue to be able to operate without ANY OVERSIGHT?? https://twitter.com/btownmoose/status/1655291291775713283?s=46&t=Vw6j-KU3Nc-OshdTTWorEg https://twitter.com/djunique812/status/1655312972548386817?s=46&t=Vw6j-KU3Nc-OshdTTWorEg This was also reported to the Indiana Excise Police
Is Bloomington a sanctuary city?
This will be my FOURTH TIME contacting the city to report this issue. In front of my house, on the city easement, is a grand old hard maple that unfortunately died this past summer. I have reported this to Lee Hoff twice by phone, and this is my second ereport. I have had no response to my ereports and Lee did not put a priority on its removal. Today, in the storms, a large limb fell between my house and the neighbor's, in the parking pad where his car usually is. Fortunately, the car wasn't there, but I can tell that this will be the first of many limbs to follow and we can not assume to be so lucky the next time! As this tree is clearly dead, clearly a city tree, and clearly a hazard, I request that it's removal be expedited before more serious damage, or injury occurs. The address is 1115 W. 6th St. The sugar maple is the easternmost tree and clearly dead. Thank you.
Just curious if there was any discussion with city staff about the air quality being hazardous? I would like to recommend if possible to have restaurants restrict outside seating until air quality is better. Just like with the Covid-19 pandemic where the government shut down businesses, I believe the city should restrict where possible outdoor seating is available for the safety of public. Encouraging the public to wear mask outside. https://bloomingtonian.com/2023/06/28/air-quality-alert-and-reduced-visibility-due-to-smoke-in-indiana/
