The incident occured at approximately 10:20am on 2/15/22.
We were performing work at the One City Centre for Connor Reporting (120 W 7th St), when we parked our 2009 Ford Edge in the Taco Bell parking lot. We parked in the lot between 9:50-10:00am.
I have 2 main issues with the non-consenual tow I received from TowTime Towing and Breakdown Solutions.
#1 I was charged $168 for the tow, when it clearly states in your city ordinance for a max of $135 for the tow [4.32.130]. The car was picked up from the tow facility at 11:03a.
#2 I did not receive a copy of any written authorizations from Taco Bell regarding the authorized tow of my vehicle [4.32.100 subsection a].
Please direct me in the correct way to file an appeal against this predatory tow. I am looking to receive full reimbursement for the improper tow. I am also interested in verifying the licensure of TowTime in regards to [4.32.040].

Put money in meter and it did not respond by adding more time. It's only $0.50, but I thought you'd want to know this one might be faulty.

Parking spot lines on Madison St / 7th St need to be repainted. I've submitted 4-5 Ureports on this since 2018 and been told it would be taken care of each time. This isn't even my car in the picture, but I'm not sure how you can keep ticketing people here. The spots are not marked at all. Parking Enforcement has become very aggressive on this block despite no efforts to improve anything in 6+ years.

I was incorrectly fined for a citation that wasn’t in my right of way. I parked in this spot facing the opposite direction as I came from that direction along the TWO-WAY street and leave facing the direction I would park, which is viable and accepted by the Park on Morton residency, as there are frequently and normally others who park the same way. Furthermore there is no parking meter placed in which I could be fined as I have the parking pass in which I pay $100 monthly for parking services. I park in this spot often, my residence town home is directly adjacent to the spot. I asked the Park on Morton office about if this fine was viable, as I wasn’t on street ground or city property next to any meter and was unhinging street conduct, they reassured that I was upset in feeling wronged for my claim as my parking permit entails that I park on street property regardless of direction valid since it’s a two way street and it isn’t within their conduct. My appeal was upheld but basically I parked in a way that I’ve parked many times previously, other cars park both directions all the time especially down that curved road that only leads on to the property which is why I’ve been reaffirmed by the office that isn’t even parking city services area and that they don’t have a right.
