The tree that is planted near our driveway has roots growing extremely close to the house, sewer, and ATT electrical boxes. We were planting plants today and noticed there is a large root next to out driveway and house. The roots have already caused the sidewalk to raise and crack and our driveway is already being lifted. More importantly, thick roots growing next to out house. We would like the current tree cut down to stop any further damage, especially to the structure of the house, driveway, and sewer. We are completely fine to have a different smaller tree planted in its place. Please advise as we recently had plumbing issues and wouldn't want this to get any worse. The trees between the houses on the street side of the sidewalk on rock creek in my neighborhood are super overgrown and low hanging. I’ve noticed some kids and elderly getting hit in the face with branches and having to duck. The city in the past has trimmed these low hanging branches but it was never done last year. Any chance we could get the low hanging branches on rock creek cut? It would make it a lot safer for our neighborhood kids who walk to school (and adults). To be clear, I’m talking about the city trees not residential trees. Thanks!

The tree in front of this house, along the street needs to be trimmed back. Its limbs have grown over the sidewalk creating very poor sidewalk access. Thank you!

I am a Certified Arborist through the I.S.A. While inspecting trees for Dr. John Labbon today at 2736 E. Brig's Bend I noticed that the city Maple tree to the right of the driveway entrance has co-dominant leaders. The 2 leads are already splitting and the smaller lead will fall onto the city sidewalk where a person walked by while I was doing the tree inspection. Dr. Labbon would like the tree removed. A tree planted by the city a few years ago was damaged by the storm today, June 25 2023. A large branch has fallen, blocking the sidewalk. It is too large for us to move. The city will have to remove it and probably plant a new tree.

I'm giving the City a $50 citation. It's been more than 24 hours since the snow stopped and the B-Line Trail along the 2nd Street Kroger is snow covered. Unacceptable. This is not the only part of the trail like this. Great work. With more snow and continued cold weather, the problem won't just go away. Grab a shovel, let's go.

Hello, I just submitted a report under the wrong category (blocked sidewalk). Sorry about that. Many of the trees on our street are too low for people to walk under them along the sidewalks and for cars to drive or park under them. Having them trimmed/raised would be great. Thank you.
