Excessive graffiti on the "story walk" panels at Butler park. So bad you cant even read the story on some pages
Graffiti on the story walk panels
There are trees in between my property and the property behind my yard that have overgrown and now are touching power lines. We can hear zapping sounds coming from a partially dead pine tree. The tree have also uprooted a portion of my fence, in the back of the yard. This is happening on the back end of the property, by the alleyway.
Vegetation growing at edge of street through sidewalk all along Fairview side of Butler Park. Area of park around culvert near Fairview is choked with bindweed, Johnson Grass and more.
Butler Park trash receptacles do not have lids. Consequently all of the trash is blowing all around the woods including the river extends to the B-Line Woods area behind Butler Park.
A tree has fallen down, in the back corner, of the graveyard near the walking trail to 8th Street. An additional tree next to it is leaning at about a 60 degree angle causing a potential hazardous situation if it falls.
Tree branches overhang 9th St. sidewalk at Butler Park hanging lower than five feet--impassable without ducking or leaving sidewalk--very difficult for elderly pedestrians. Hard to understand why the city is issuing citations for minor aesthetic violations when their own property has significant issues with accessibility, unmowed grass, and poison ivy next to walkways. Come on, Bloomington. Stop empowering harassment and instead prioritize violations that actually impede safety and access.
