Bryan park 2-5 year old playground is in need of some updating. The floor is deformed and the tiles have shrunk which has caused large sections to pull apart, leaving large gaps that our 18 month old have tripped over and twisted her ankle in. The steps leading up to the slides also have multiple broken welds and are at risk of breaking while someone is climbing them. Is there a plan to update or replace the 2-5 year old playground in the near future? Thanks

The trees between the houses on the street side of the sidewalk on rock creek in my neighborhood are super overgrown and low hanging. I’ve noticed some kids and elderly getting hit in the face with branches and having to duck. The city in the past has trimmed these low hanging branches but it was never done last year. Any chance we could get the low hanging branches on rock creek cut? It would make it a lot safer for our neighborhood kids who walk to school (and adults). To be clear, I’m talking about the city trees not residential trees. Thanks!

I would like to advocate an end to the % fee system for Food & Beverage Artisans. We need to support local food producers who are already competing with by stores such as Kroger etc. Let's spend our $ on locally grown food & take away another challenge that they are facing in trying to seel their products locally.

This morning at approximately 8:20, while I was riding a bicycle southbound on the B-Line trail over the Grimes Street bridge, I met a full-sized truck driving northbound on the B-Line Trail over the bridge. The truck was labeled Bloomington Parks and Recreation, and I spoke with the driver and passenger, who were staff members of the Parks and Recreation Department.
The posted rules of the B-Line trail prohibit motorized vehicles. I am aware that we make exceptions for motorized wheelchairs, electric bicycles, electric scooters, and the small trucks used by security and parks maintenance staff. However, my opinion is that a full-sized truck is well outside the range of acceptable exceptions. A full-sized truck is less safe, provides less visibility for the truck driver to see walkers and others on the trail, blocks more of the trail width, and causes more wear on the trail surface. My opinion is that full-sized trucks should not be on the B-Line, when there are alternate routes available for a truck on public streets, and alternative vehicles available to use on the B-Line trail.

Very large pin oak tree planted right next to the street is dead on at least half of it’s crown with dangerous branches broken and dangling over the street. Seems like a public hazard.

i have a dead tree along the street on my property. Will the city come and remove and plant another one for me? Also, if i trim my existing trees will the city come by and pick up my clippings? I have no idea on where to dispose of this stuff

The fees for food vendors are too high and are driving vendors away from the market. That also means that the market is less interesting to patrons. The local food vendors are important to those who come. Please lower these fees.

We want to advocate for our local artisans and their unfair percentage fee for participating in the market. We love Muddy Fork Bakery and several other local food and drink artisans and would love to have them included in the City Market, but think it is unfair that they are slapped with such a high fee just to participate. I believe that if the market is open to more vendors, it will thrive and be even more popular with customers. I hope you will consider a change to the rule so that the market can help build a diverse local economy that benefits the business owners, employees, and consumers.

There appears to be a tent erected on the foundation of the old shelter house that was torn down at RCA Park. You might want to have security take the time to walk back there.
