A question about memorial trees. I just noticed this London plane tree planted not far from the stump of a sycamore. I am curious why a non-native tree was chosen, instead of a native sycamore. I urge you to plant native trees in our park and tree plots, for various reasons including avoiding a repeat of those Callery pears, adjacent to the tennis courts, planted and then cut down later when we learned better. There are so many Callery trees along the B-Line that, I assume, will have to be cut down and replaced
Memorial tree marker for George Juergens is heaved up from the ground More likely a mower might clip it Maybe add soil, or dig it up and reseat it again.
Flag football parents driving into the fields and parking on the grass in the middle of the field so they don’t have to walk from the parking lots. They seem to be taking advantage of no parking enforcement on the weekends. 10/13/24 around 12:30.

Similar to the previous case #193719, the new fiber optic cables that were installed have created speed humps along the Bline trail between Dodds and 1st. I've seen that this is to be repaired already, but I want to add another complaint point to ensure visibility. Additionally, south of the trail tree roots have begun to surface creating large bumps/uneven terrain closer to Dodds St. The roots were attempted to be repaired with crack sealer, but the bumps still exist.
I made a report asking whether the trees on east smith street near our building location are property of the city. The case #198643 . I didn't leave any contact information, so I was reaching out to include it.
We (staff) are unsure if the trees on E Smith St (near the property location 401 S Washington St) are the city property or if they belong to us. Would you be able to tell me who they belong to? If they are the property of the city, could I schedule to get them trimmed? I was notified that there has to be 3ft clearance between the tree limbs and the property.
