Poor visibility while trying to exit St. Remy eastbound onto smith.
Southbound stop sign on Sare rd, at Canada dr., Has very poor visibility
The sidewalk has become overgrown. This makes it difficult for pedestrians and cyclists to pass. This is particularly dangerous in this spot due to its proximity to a blind corner.
Woodlawn and 1st. Can barely use the sidewalk because of overgrowth.
Re case # 164723 (Supposedly resoled) Grass has been cut. Absolutely correct. But how about the E First sidewalk towards Rose? I do not see any improvement there. Low-hanging branches hitting me in the face and arms. Also, another problem has arisen: corner of Eastside and E First: long vegetation is starting to impair the view to the left where cars may be coming out of nothing from E First. Cases Locations Report a problem closed: Resolved #164723 Excessive Growth: Other: E First Street: Vegetation encroaching on the sidewalk between Rose and Eastside Drive. Also, unkempt lawn (again) on 721 Eastside. Reported By Stella Hooker-Haase Assigned to Kenneth Liford History 6/12/2018 10:22:25 Closed by Kenneth Liford Grass at 721 has been cut. overgrowth. hard to tell from the sunlight in the photo but the scratchy plant goes from one end to the other, can't really walk through if you're in shorts.
There are low hanging branches just south of 3rd street on Rogers Street.
Received a call from resident's son at 1118 S. Rogers Street that tree shrub on property of 1117 S. Rogers has overgrown and obstructed the side walk. Resident's son indicated that mother is elderly and has had to deal with the issue for the last 5 years.
This morning I was bike commuting to work when I had a near miss at the intersection of Smith Road and Morningside. A car on Smith Road going towards 10th St. did not give me the right of way. Luckily I never assume a car would give me the right of way at a stop intersection so I was able to stop in time. These events occur sometimes on my commute. However, I decided to contact you because the same happened yesterday, another car, another time of the day. Would it be possible to place extra signage in that area, e.g. Beware of bicycles and pedestrian?
