Dear Sir/Madam, I have faced a lot of, (problem(s)/issue(s)), while being (homeless/transient), in, (local: (City/Town(s)), (esp. Central Indiana, South-Central Indiana), (some/all) of which, are stated: (temporary/conditional) trespass advisories, from (local:(City/Town(s)), (pvt./non-profit, etc.) establishment(s), (year(s):(2015/'16) onward(s)), which has become, (of, recent times), inconvenience to me, (personally), (since, due to, no(fixed) earned income source(s), I don't (presently) have a (fixed/stabilized) place to stay, (e.g. (rental) apartment(s), residential unit(s), etc.), and as a result, I do not have (legal) access to, (fundamental) necessitated (indoor) space(s), (e.g. (restroom/(with/without) shower facility), cooling center(s), etc.). I would be obliged, if my, (afore)-mentioned (problem(s)/issue(s)) are addressed , (at least , by the beginning of the bitterly-cold (U.S) Mid-western winter season, (yr.2024-'25), Thanking You, Yours sincerely, Ms. Diya B.((email):info@volunteerhub.com)

A bit odd to have Black & Brown Arts on the same day as Pride maybe. If going to do so would have been great to have seen more collaboration between the City and Pride in cross-marketing, maybe a joint venture, or something that would make it feel a bit collaborative instead of potential to choose either or. Hard in a busy town to avoid other events, but these were both cultural festivals.

Sidewalk & Curb Complaints

912 E 2nd ST

Case Date:
9/10/2024

The yellow paint on the curb adjacent to my driveway has (largely) worn away, and cars now park right up to my driveway on 2nd st, which is very busy. I can't see cars coming from either direction when parked cars take these (illegal) positions. I would like the yellow paint to be redone so that drivers would more often leave clearance around my driveway.

Request a new Street Light

408 W Dodds ST

Case Date:
9/4/2024

There is a street light out somewhere around this intersection (Dodds and Madison)(I noticed last night but can't remember which side of the street it's on). Honestly a second light in this stretch of Dodds (between Morton and Rogers and maybe even beyond) would be so nice as well, but at least replacing the one that is out would help a ton. Thank you!

1501 S Rogers ST

Case Date:
8/25/2024

My next door neighbor has set up a unhoused encampment next door. They have unleashed dogs we can climb under the fence and there is no access to water, trash disposal, or bathroom facilities. No discussion was had with me prior to the encampment moving in and it is preventing me or my dog being able to use our backyard.

Unhoused folks are gathering in the tree line behind the soup kitchen and setting up camp. This is a residentially area that backs up against the mailboxes of the homes in the area. Found many needles and have often heard screaming and fighting in early hours of the morning.

Blocked Sidewalk

501 S Walnut ST

Case Date:
8/21/2024

Every night the sidewalk is taken over by an encampment of individuals sleeping on the sidewalk. The area gets littered with needles/syringes, garbage and more. The nightly inhabitants use the surrounding properties as toilets and leave fecal messes to be cleaned up. Last night there was a fire pit with an active fire in it, as it was a cool night. This is a recipe for disaster, not to mention that these people should not be sleeping in the sidewalk public ROW. The police need to be involved as this is after business hours. Attention to this matter is very much needed and appreciated.

Nuisance Lights

107 E Grimes LN

Case Date:
8/20/2024

This Washington and Grimes street light that was recently repaired is obscenely bright. The cool LED is a migraine trigger for at least one resident, and the brightness is disruptive to local wildlife. Replace with a warm colored light with minimum required lumens for street safety.
