Returned home late from the hospital and found water flowing across the sidewalk between our house & neighbors’, near the water shutoff & sewer cover.

I think the water main in front of 2700 S Banta is ruptured - there is water coming out of the cracks in the street and its not snow melt/runoff. A section of the main was replaced a few weeks ago about 50ft south of where this new leak is.

There is a water valve cover that has water coming out of the cover and running down the side walk - not a large qty but enough to run down the sidewalk and create a trail. Intersection of S. High Street and E. Arden Drive. North/East corner 10' up sidewalk North. It does seem that early morning 5a-5:30a it is always running down the sidewalk but by mid morning the water has dissipated. water meter cover (??) missing on sidewalk on the west side of college, just north of the train bridge (about a block south of 14th st). trip hazard. not sure if it was removed for construction or what but it's been gone for about a month. thanks!

SE corner of lot just west of alley and close to the sidewalk there is a medium-sized, water-meter pit that is uncovered. Lid is not around, apparently. Dangerous trip hazard at night, and animals could fall in.

Thank you for recently covering an open utility hole in this area by the alley. We noticed another one this morning a bit west of that one. It is also between Fess and Park on Cottage Grove. This one is approximately half-way between Fess and the alley between and parallel to Fess and Park, about 8 feet north of the sidewalk on the north side of Cottage Grove. It is smaller than the last one, maybe 6-8 inches, and looks quite old, unused, and slightly crooked. Maybe just fill it with dirt (?)

The city fixed a busted pipe this winter and tore up the sidewalk. It is now May and the side walk is still torn up. Please fix.

A new drain on the sidewalk along South Henderson St by the South football practice fields has a raised portion. We are concerned that in the dark (night or mornings) that pedestrians will not notice the raised portion and will trip, fall, end up n the street. Could this be striped some way to announce it's presence?

The sidewalk just north of the YMCA sign on South Highland Ave is slick with mud. Erosion from an adjacent hillside and mud/leaves from the gutter keep the sidewalk muddy. I shoveled mud off off it for an hour earlier this week, but it needs more work. Cleaning the gutter would be a big help. Thanks!
