Leaves from other properties wash down the hill and covering the sewer drain at the bottom, blocking the path for runoff to enter the drain. A crew had recently come to take care of the blockage, but only removed some of the leaves and poked holes in the remaining pile covering the drain. With a big rainstorm coming soon, and this being a flood-prone area, its unlikely this doesn't result in serious flooding
Near the alley way at 401 N Dunn water does not drain properly and builds up with gravel and dirt making it difficult for handicap travel. 8th Street has been paved over so many times that drainage is impaired. There is quite a bit of debris there now and this holds a lot of water during a rain event. Finally the alley has been patched a little but it is in pretty bad shape and needs redone. Two things. first problem the drain to the storm sewer is covered by pieces of asphalt that have come off of the road and rain down here so very little drainage is happening. Second problem where are you tried to grow grass for me has again started to wash away dirt and grass seed gets washed away. What we really need is some sod. Would you please send a street sweeper down Faculty Ave between Atwater and Hunter. Lots of sweet gum balls in the street make walking hazardous. Thank you.

Water main leak - there has been what I believe is a water main leaking on Morningside Dr in Park Ridge East for months. It started leaking into the street this past summer and hasn't been fixed yet. I believe that it has been reported previously. This is a terrible waste of waste.
