On most Saturdays, corresponding with the Bton Farmers Mkt, I've seen MuddyFork farm selling food at the corner of 7th and the Bline. This is hippocritical at best given their opposition to participating in the Market in past years, yet they are clearly profiting from market traffic while other farmers rent their space. But i wonder if it is also in violation of permitting for businesses, specifically locating mobile food vending that close to a public event, a crosswalk (there was a line going into the street and bline), and on what could be private property (not sure if they have a permission to be there). This seems very unfair to farmers and the city and could actually be unsafe. Hope you can look into it. Thank you,

The Back Door is having adult entertainment and are in a area not zoned for adult entertainment. To my understanding, that is not allowed at their location. Please stop this before everyone is doing it.

I am emailing to request a target date we will be required to vacate our space.
Warrant Technologies currently resides in the Showers Building at 320 W. 8th St, Suite 207 Bloomington, IN 47404.
We have been verbally notified by three different city representatives, one of which was the deputy mayor, that will be required to move out prior to end of our lease.
We have inquired each time – When will we be required to move?
No response has been provided to date.
This is having a detrimental impact to our ability to support our customers.
We cannot plan for / execute upgrades needed to include facility security measures, classified holding capability, expanded connectivity to include classified connection, cooling, alarms, and additional access control.
Warrant needs an answer to the following questions;
• Will we be required to move out?
• If yes, when will we be required to move?
• If no, will we be able to exercise our lease option years?
V/R,
Mike

There are multiple cars in various states of repair parked on the lawn at 800 N washington. Either they are turning this place into a junkyard, or some sort of car repair business.

Around 9pm tonight (Sunday 3/29/2020) the Chocolate Moose on Walnut had a crowd of probably 15-20+ people inside. A big group was congregated inside together to get ice cream. There were also people congregating outside of the business and on the sidewalk. How is this okay?
The Governor's order for the state of Indiana says we cannot go out for non-essential trips. The federal government says we cannot be in groups over 10 people. The crowd at Chocolate Moose was violating all of these rules.
Can the City take action or should the state or county health departments or a police agency be notified?

Since about June/July last year, karate class is happening in my culdesac. At first it was a single student lesson, but then it turned into multiple students and multiple classes a week with parents/cars lining the street. There were 2 classes Sunday, another yesterday evening, and 2 more today. I'm almost positive the guy running classes is from MCMA which closed its dojo doors during the pandemic. We felt like this was okay when it started. One of the kids lives next door and it was one class here and there, but this is kind of getting out of control. I don't want to ruin it for the kids who are getting some activity, but I don't understand why they don't do this in the park. I guess my question is is there any problem with someone teaching karate classes in a public culdesac?

Can someone please look into the businesses that are operating out of 629 N. Fairview? Red Tire Taxi received a Rapid Response Fund loan of $12,000 in 2020 for being in the Bloomington Urban Enterprise Zone. I am in my third year of almost daily walking past that building at a wide variety of hours and have only seen a vehicle with a Red Tire Taxi sticker on it once and that was in the summer of 2019. There are two different tow truck company trucks in and out and the majority of the vehicles in their two lots are in some state of serious disrepair. The same vehicles with missing windows are there from when I first moved into this neighborhood in 2019. Is this a junk yard? If it is a junkyard, is there ordinance language around having fences around them? There are vehicles parked on grass in the back as well. If you look up the business registration for that address there is only one business listed and that is called Bloomington Extreme Auto (which is also the business used to perform the safety inspection on Red Tire Taxi's vehicles for the business license), and they were administratively dissolved in 2018.
It is an unpleasant area to have a part of daily life, and seems illegitimate in at least one way, if not more. Please look into it. Thank you.
