The Avenue Apartments refuses to shovel their snow or chip away their ice. Today, I slipped outside the building on a sheet of ice right outside the door. They deserve to be sanctioned

On the south side of E Cottage Grove, between numbers 714 and 712, there is poison ivy (among the other vines) on a tree on private property not too far from the sidewalk. The house in the photo is 712, but upon looking at the maps and street view, I think the tree is on the 714 property. I figure I can leave that to you to figure out officially.

Trash heap, open bags spilling over sidewalk and onto street. Unacceptable. On Washington street sidewalk. Residents need to be aware of their responsibilities and cleanup essential for a safe and civil city. Please help. A visit from city official usually solves the problem and prevents future issues. The Side walk on the west side of the street is over grown with weeds making it difficult to walk on the sidewalk.

See issue #182770. They just ripped down the citation and left the trash bin on the sidewalk and the bags full of garbage littering the yard. What good is a citation if there is no way to follow up with a fine? These are students who will likely be moving out in a couple months.

Trash cans are left in the sidewalk all week making it difficult for those in wheel chairs to make it up the sidewalk.

Trash has now been accumulating on the porch for three weeks without being put out for removal. Carts overflowing, plus a big box. Food and other waste, and blowing into nearby yards. One block away I saw a dead rat on sidewalk; don’t want them in this block.
