Safety issue/Excessive growth at 820 w. 2nd street. This property has excessive growth that obscures the line of sight on Euclid Ave for west-bound traffic on 2nd street. Note that this property has had a prior complaint in July 2015.
Bushes are overgrowing and blocking most of the sidewalk
Curb has disintegrated over the years. As people turn from Jackson st onto Smith Ave they are driving onto my property due to there being a lack of boundary between the road and my back yard. My property is 606 W. Howe Street and the issue is the the backyard where it boarders Smith Ave. My husband and I would really appreciate it if this curb could be rebuilt to prevent further damage. Sidewalk blocked by overgrowth. When stopped on Smith line of site blocked. There is also an overgrown fire hydrant, possibly to the same address.
The vegetation along Smith Ave from Euclid to Walker is out of control AGAIN. It overgrows into both sides of Smith so cars get scratched. If you want to turn onto Smith from Buckner you CANNOT see East on Smith to know if a car is coming West on Smith. Going East and West on Smith, the same problem occurs both directions on Davisson. This is a chronic problem every year. I believe Smith is platted as 16 feet wide, but there is definitely not that much clearance. I also believe there is city law that says vegetation should be cut back 3 feet from the street edges. If owners would cut their vegetation back one foot from the paved edge of Smith it would be a lot better. I'd appreciate contact from you after you look into this. Thank You!!
