At the following addresses, the clearance space above the sidewalk surface and the bottom of the tree canopy is quite a bit lower than the eight feet stipulated in Section 12.24.040(2) of Bloomington’s Municipal Code. The low bottom of the tree canopy at these addresses blocks the sidewalk and represents a safety hazard for pedestrians and runners. Could you please look into this issue? I reported power lines/wires within reach of the sidewalk off Rogers very close to the front of the entrance to switchyard park over a month ago. This seems like a very serious issue. Why hasn’t anything been done about this? Has been like this for 6+ months! It’s sad to think there are people working for the city that see this as anything other than an emergency situation.

Hsiung Marler Can you please explain why there are still power lines hanging down within reach of the sidewalk in front on the entrance to switchyard park on Rogers street! This was posted months ago. How long does it take to call the power company/city workers to take care of this dangerous and serious problem????? Seems several post alude to the city not taking care of problems or taking way to long to respond to issues!
