Hello I am the office manager at Summit Urology located on McIntire Dr off of Tapp Rd and we have a few concerns 1 being that we have a Surgery Center down stairs and we are going to soon have only 1 way in or out of here. This is a concern due to if we ever need an ambulance to come to the surgery center in the event of an emergency and the road be blocked for some reason it could mean life or death for someone. Yesterday the road was blocked off for 38 min no one could get in or out of the medical park. I find this to not be a good result and need to speak to someone about our concerns.

Hello, I am re-developing the property @ 3000 South Walnut. The location is where the former Southern Winds Hotel and Roosters club were located. The property at the beginning a workout facility and a chiropractors office. AS you pull out from the property and are going to turn left (North) and cross traffic, there are two trees located to the north on the side of the road. When cars are coming South and I am turning to the North, it is difficult to see whats coming and that is where the speed limit changes from 30 to 40mph, which is the place many seems to start speeding up. We will have more traffic than ever entering and leaving the property right from the beginning and even more as the property continues to be redeveloped overtime after the initial building and business's are active. A stop light right around there of course would be superb for the property but probably could never happen due to the traffic that occur that comes over the hill when people are traveling South down South Walnut. With that in mind I was hoping the two large trees could be taken down so it is much safer at that point because of the visibility that would open up. One tree is directly in from of the property and the other is directly in front on an older apartment complex that has around 10 apartments in it, it looks like. Would this be possible? Or maybe we could plant a couple new tress which would be much smaller and take several years to grow out? Of course that problem would show up again several years from now but it would take care of it presently for sevevral years. I am just worried about such a great new area being redeveloped for the area and future to have potential traffic issues with people being able to see when pulling out of the property. when going east on 3rd st, after smith road you cant hardley turn in to edwards square, across from office lounge. traffic heading towards you from the east and traffic coming from behind you is dangerous. because theres no turn lane there. its a busy road, and is a real proble. i work in edwards square and we hear constant worries about it. it really needs to be adressed. thanks. if you have any questions you can call me at 812 -272-8721. thanks mr hiestand

Just south of the railroad bridge over N College, cars are routinely parked in the bike lane, requiring cyclists to swerve into the car lane to get around the parked car. This is dangerous! Please repaint the yellow curb. If you can't because of the weather, please post a temporary no-parking sign there until you can. Thanks!

Too many cars, dump trucks, and even school buses are speeding on W. 17th St. west of the roundabout to the hill. Sometimes they're going in excess of 20 mph above the posted speed limit (which is 25 going east and 30 going west). Plus many of the vehicle, particularly motorcycles, have terrible mufflers that far exceed the noise specified by the Bloomington noise ordinance. It's unbearable at times (not exaggerating). I can't even hold a conversation on my front porch. And other neighbors are awakened every night by the noise. If this isn't the right place to post this complaint, please send me the correct contact information.

At the intersection of E 3rd St and College Mall Rd motorists headed west on E 3rd St and turning south onto College Mall Rd often crowd into the intersection as their light turns yellow and then red. They then are blocking the intersection so that people traveling east on East 3rd are blocked from proceeding. Today they blocked the intersection for almost he entire duration of the green light for those traveling East on 3rd St. My suggestion is to post an officer at this intersection and ticket persons who are blocking the intersection when the light for the eastbound cars on 3rd St turns green.
