There are two vehicles on my block. One has been parked for months and not moved. It's a silver Thunderbird. The other vehicle has been parked for several days. It is parked facing the wrong direction and almost 2 feet from the sidewalk. It's a white Aerostar van.
Resident reports consistent speeding and safety concerns as well as recurring congestion in stretch of road lacking a sidewalk near Culver's on W 3rd St.
The sidewalk along the south side of East 10th Street between North Grandview Drive and Bell Trace has not been cleared. It is now very slippery and covered in ice. I had great difficulty walking to work this morning, several days after the snow storm, nearly slipping many times. Addresses where the sidewalk was not cleared are 711 N Grandview Dr, 3840 E 10th St, 3730 E 10th St.
This pothole makes navigating this busy sidewalk hazardous. Wheelchairs or strollers can get stuck; pedestrians with mobility issues can easily trip and fall.
As a home owner on old 37 N whose property’s easement is being used for the new line, I have some questions. The work has torn up an existing asphalt sidewalk that runs from marlin to the first house on Old 37 N along with a retaining wall in front of my house, my property sits down form the road. Broken table (long, white, bent) sat in yard for months. A few weeks ago it was pushed over onto the sidewalk and it is still there.

This is my second report on this issue: Water meter protruding approx. 2.5 in the *middle* of the sidewalk near 438 W Somersbe Place (county). I have seen numerous people trip and one person fell but fortunately was not seriously injured. It is only a matter of time until someone is. The liability is yours. There is a set of two squares of sidewalk that need fixed outside of the atlas at 3rd and college. I fell there and shattered my knee two years ago. I filed with the safety office. It still isn’t fixed. Please do something with it so no one else gets hurt there.
