House looks abandoned. Little black cat seen in front yard. Backyard gate is open - appears to have pet carriers strewn about back there. Maybe someone at the animal shelter could drop by and look around (?)
Usually I'm don't usually complain about the police department as you all do amazing work around the city. But this morning had to be the most terrifying thing I've encountered. At about 6:45am I'm getting ready to take my dog out, and whenever I take her out before daylight I'm always aware of my surroundings, as I'm always afraid something is going to happen, and in this city you never know. I open the door to go out and noticed my dog is a little more anxious than usually. An out of the corner of my eye I notice this man in all black coming up from behind my house in my yard, and between my car and the neighbors fence doesn't say one word to me as noted it was dark out. Now at this point being in dark clothing and in my yard, I literally thought I was going to have a panic attack cause i had no idea who it was and hurried my dog back inside. Had literally no idea this dude was a police officer as he didn't say a word to me and on that side of the house you can't see his patrol car. So when I go back in and calm myself down, I look out the window towards the other side of my house and notice his patrol car. I don't mind the police being in my yard for whatever reason but at least they could of done was said something when I walked out. Is this standard for you to be in someones yard and not announce yourself? I dont know cause I'm not a police officer. But it would have been great to know as they literally scared me. Once again, just like last year the city allows the sidewalks on Maple Heights Bridge to become wildly overgrown, obstructing the way and line of sight for pedestrians and bicyclists. I'll bet not a single location on the east or south side is ever this bad you classist pricks
Y'all ever going to clean up the overgrowth and trash all over this sidewalk? Can't barely see, and since there's a homeless camp right next to it which you all won't bother to clean up either, it's become dangerous to even use this sidewalk.
Greetings. Could someone please cut back the vegetation at the southwest corner of where 11th st. intercepts Fairview. It has blocked visibility from both directions and is causing a safety issue. There is also signage that is being hidden. Thank you kindly! Addendom: I am a pedestrian not a motorist. It has become unsafe for pedestrians at an intersection that is already dangerous due to motorists speeding from three directions. Thank you.
Several months ago a vehicle drove into and knocked down a light pole on the opposite corner. Due to that, there have been metal cables coiled up on the corner of 11th and Fairview. Now they have fallen into the right of way of the sidewalk. This is dangerous and I respectfully ask that it be fixed. Thank you.
You guys ever gonna trim these bushes growing over sidewalk or you just gonna wait until someone gets mugged or hit by a bike? Literally in a heavily used and seen area. You guys lacking employees or something?
Please assess this intersection (Fairview and 13th) at the top of a slight hill with a stop sign. The massive honeysuckle bush on the east side of Fairview obstructs view of stop sign until you are right up to the stop sign. Additionally, when you are stopped at 13th st and looking east there are oftentimes vehicles parked in front of the residence and the view to the east is blocked. I don't know how the yellow painted curbs to prohibit parking near stop signs are determined but this intersection may need something to prevent vehicles from parking right up to the stop sign.
