There are two street lights out I believe are city maintained that are just flashing. They are on 100 W. Kirkwood. First one is in front of Tivoli. It’s next to last closest too College Ave. it’s by a bench. Didn’t see a number on pole. Second light is next to the entrance to Fountain Square Mall. It’s the pole that would be close to Walnut. Or if your looking at the entrance from the sidewalk, it would on the right. It’s also just flashing nonstop as well.
I had to pick an address and the two houses 1211 and 1217 are the most egregious because there's ice under the snow, but snow removal is a problem on the whole two blocks from Adams to Oak there are many houses that are blocked with snow and ice. I can do a separate item for each house but it's apparent which ones are not removing snow.
Sidewalk has not been cleared of snow this winter. It is very hazardous walking and someone may get hurt very badly
trash is accumulating in the front again...
The yellow hazard sign on the traffic calming circle at W 7th and N Pine has been hit by a car and is destroyed.
The storm drain grate on the northwest corner of 6th & College is missing a bar and the gap is wide enough that a bicycle tire could drop into it and cause injury to the writer and damage to the bike.
The street light across the street from 1210 W 8th St is out.
The intersection of Adams and Kirkwood badly needs left turn signals. My wife and I deliver Meals on Wheels once a month. Our route has us coming down Adams from the north, and then turning eastward on Kirkwood. More than once we’ve found that turn difficult. Mostly it has been large streams of traffic coming toward us, making it hard to turn left. The worst has been when there seemed to be no traffic, but as we were ready to turn left, a car came fast up the hill toward us, and it was not visible until the last minute. Please fix this problem!
