Mattresses left in the street, potentially constricting traffic at an intersection that is heavily trafficked twice a day with parents dropping kids off at the Fairview School.
A large tree branch is blocking the street.
7th st (at intersection with maple) fully blocked by downed tree
Blue mazda parked in yellow zone in front of 802 W 7th. Creating a visibility issue when trying to turn off of southbound Maple Street. This is becoming a daily issue. Car has been parked there all night.
Four city issued trash and recycling containers belonging to 802 W 7th still on sidewalk 24 hours after trash/recycling pickup. Blocking sidewalk on Maple Street at W 7th.
There is a tree that has fallen down and part of it is sticking out onto the sidewalk
Bush and tree overhang blocking path more than used to. Plus general deterioration.
3 homeless people making themselves comfortable on our public sidewalks. Bloomington is on its way to looking like San Francisco
Tree branches overhang 9th St. sidewalk at Butler Park hanging lower than five feet--impassable without ducking or leaving sidewalk--very difficult for elderly pedestrians. Hard to understand why the city is issuing citations for minor aesthetic violations when their own property has significant issues with accessibility, unmowed grass, and poison ivy next to walkways. Come on, Bloomington. Stop empowering harassment and instead prioritize violations that actually impede safety and access.
