Overgrown bushes are obstructing part of the sidewalk on N Woodlawn Avenue.
Overgrown bushes are obstructing part of the sidewalk on N Woodlawn Avenue.
Intersection of 8th and Woodlawn is in desperate need of a marked/lighted crosswalk or even a stop sign. It is very dangerous to cross as a pedestrian because traffic simply does not stop for you.
I was riding in the Woodlawn bike lane today going south and it was full of rocks and debris. It ended up popping my bike tire. Please keep the bike lanes clean, especially on busy roads like Woodlawn where riding into the road would have gotten me hit by a car.
The view of oncoming traffic is obscured at this intersect by the residences. I have not been in or witnessed a collision, but I believe that safety is a concern. I believe that any misfortune might be mitigated with the posting of stop signs or the placement of convex traffic mirrors. The surrounding residences are property of Indiana University. I am a lessee of one of these properties- 824 1/2 East Cottage Grove Avenue.
Tree has poison ivy and *many* other invasives growing around and up the trunk.
Cylindrical hole about 4" radius drilled into street by fiber-optic workers and left unfilled. Dangerous area because there are no sidewalks along at that location, so people are forced to walk on the street. Hole is closest to SW corner of intersection. Ankle-breaker!
See case #201442 (https://bloomington.in.gov/crm/tickets/view?ticket_id=201442). Given that the fiber optic project is now "on hold" (= bankrupt?), can the City step in and correct some of the damage they caused? They drilled a hole in the SW part of the intersection of Dunn/12th. It is dangerous, since there are no sidewalks on Dunn and lots of people wander through this area at night on their way to and from The Standard" via the RR. Someone is going to get hurt if the hole is not filled soon or an animal might fall in, and since there appears to be a void beneath the street right at this location, a collapse could occur if a heavy vehicle were to drive directly over it.
There is a hole right next to the fiber optic utility housing (grey rectangle) near SE corner of lot. The hole is on the street side and is difficult to see. There are no sidewalks on that stretch of Dunn so people have to walk on the side of the road, right where the hole is.
Pothole/crumbling pavement near the intersection of 11th Street and Woodlawn Avenue in the northbound lane.
There are two bushes along N Woodlawn Ave (but one in particular that I am singling out in this complaint) that is growing over onto the sidewalk. It takes up about half the sidewalk and requires people to step onto the road verge when passing another person.
