Good Morning, When playing near the baseball diamond behind the Bryan Park pool, we noticed these rods sticking out of the concrete behind the snackbar area of the pool. It would be nice if they could be covered in some way, or at least bolted so there is not as big of a risk for impalement or other serious injury if someone tripped, especially for young children. We appreciate your attention to this. thank you, Marlise Blackburn 317-828-7736

Hello, There is currently a safety issue at Sherwood Oaks Park. Below the big blue slide on the playground where the mulch is worn away, there is a large chunk of concrete protruding that several children have been getting injured on. They get to the bottom of the slide and instead of landing in mulch, they're getting scraped up on the concrete chunk. There's also an additional large concrete chunk about 10 feet east of the bottom of the blue slide where mulch should be covering it. An additional note, the swing seats on the swing set there are exceedingly high. High enough that even an adult must jump up to get onto the swing. Children are not able to stop themselves when done swinging because they are set so high. Isn't there an OSHA standard for how what height the swings should be set at? Thanks, Kevin Kevin R. Water fountain issue - Sherwood Oaks Park, by tennis courts: Would it be possible to get the water fountain pressure adjusted so that the water flow is correct? Right now, the pressure is so low/insufficient, you literally would have to put your mouth over the spigot to get any water out of it. Thank you!

In today's H-T Hotline section quotes from Mick Renneisen indicate you can fish at Weimer Lake in the Wapehani Mountain Bike Park. Is this correct and do you need an Indiana fishing license to do so?

My family was at Bryan Pool on Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. After an hour of swimming the children were made to leave the pool for adult swim. Twenty minutes is a very long time for a child and since we could only stay for two hours it really limited our swimtime. I overheard comments from several adults that were also unaware of the adult swim rule. Additionally, two young children came in and unaware of your policy stepped into the pool only to be yelled at by the lifeguard. The girls were so embarrassed they ran to their mothers in tears. What is the puropse of this extended time out? There were only a handful of adults in the pool and most felt bad that their children couldn't join them.
