Please remove the surveillance cameras. My family and I are extremely uncomfortable with them and avoid going to the park because of it. We would like to enjoy ourselves at the park but are unable to because of the excessive surveillance.
The bike lane from East of the freeway to West of the freeway needs some clean-up. There is broken glass at a few points and gravel elsewhere.
Please remove the Callery Pear trees. They are an invasive species and they smell bad. Please don't subject us to them next Spring, too.
228 North Sheffield. A huge trash container has been in the driveway for literally a year now at least I imagine. Surely there is some limit on PERMANENT placement of a personal mini-dump, aka giant trash container, in a public visible area? Both for health and aesthetic. I understand even a couple months if something big is happening, but not permanent placement of trash. Can someone please request the homeowner if nothing else can be done to please move it? And route this concern to City officials if not against some city ordinance? I think we have a neighborhood officer Norm if he can knock and see what their plan for it is. Thank you for having this service!
I just wanted to say thank you to Sean Starowitz for responding to an inquiry I sent in regarding lgbt representation in the new mural project. I definitely am supportive of BLM representation but am glad some sort of City inclusion of queer identity in Bloomington is additionally still in thoughts. Keep up the good work. I wasn't sure how to respond directly to that thread.
Power went out again in Park Ridge East. Power should not go out this often. I know not directly under City control but City officials should be advocating for consistent stable power as a minimum for City infrastructure. I've never lived somewhere where it goes out as often and as for long as here. Can someone at the City please prod Duke to provide more reliable power? If there is anything we can do let us know but we need our elected officials to ring in.
Driver operates this vehicle while it is full to the brim with garbage. He is unable to see behind him effectively enough to avoid hitting things when he backs up. He hit a car at my house a second time because of his inability to see out of the windows in his vehicle. Please help!
The vehicle in the photo has two flat tires and sits full of garbage in the driveway.
Hoarder lives here. His house is so full he cannot open the garage. He can barely open his front door. The clutter is spilling into the driveway and lawn. Two vehicles in the drive are as full as possible with stuff.
