Following up on uReport Case #179638.
This report was closed by Chris Axsom on5/4/2022 06:48:15. The resolution states crews were in the area but no additional detail provided. When closing the additional inquiry please advise if paving projects are scheduled for 2022 or if they can be assessed and/or scheduled for a future year.
original inquiry below: In reference to the entire bay of E Linden Hill Drive. The street paving is in disrepair due to years of wear and several water main breaks. Patch fixes have been done in past but full repair of this street. Request place to know when the street will receive a new hardtop covering as the adjacent street (The Stands Dr) did in recent years?

I was walking past the Crew Carwash while cars were being pre-treated on the front of the cars with bug and tar remover. The wind was blowing the mist from the chemical used for this, straight at me. Some bug and tar pre-treatments at car washes can contain acids and refined petroleum chemicals. Although many contain citris, they usually can also cary chemicals that can cause reprirory and skin issues. I noticed that there is no protective wall that was installed to protect pedestrians and I belive that such a wall is common practice with businesses that do not wish to expose pedestrians to their car wash chemicals. Even if it were merely a strong car wash soap spray, this too can be a health risk to pedestrians who inhale this as they walk past a car wash.

Despite the city's high-level promotion of leaf mulching for the sake of saving time, energy, money, and the environment, the city continues to deploy teams of city workers to rake, blow, and bag leaves along the B-line trail. I would hope that the city would set a better example by implementing its own climate recommendations for its citizens in maintaining city and public land.
Line of Sight
235 W Grimes LN
- Case Date:

The line of sight leaving Switchyard Park by the police substation to exit onto Patterson is in need of some help. First, when you look to your right (east) there is an overgrowth of brush and bushes that obstruct the view. Then, when you look to your left (west) the Switchyard Park sign is in the way!
This park is horrendous for traffic flow. There is not a single entrance/exit to the park that has a well planned or safe means of entering and exiting. All three of the main parking areas exit onto a busy street with no traffic signals or signs to aid in the entry or exit. Traffic backs up on Rogers, for instance, at times when one car is waiting to make a left turn into the park on southbound Rogers. This is going to only be worse when there is a concert or an event going on. What a bad design!
