Large fire at 10:10pm on June 19, 2024, in the woods along the Rail Trail. The homeless camp on City-owned property (according to the GIS) is burning a large, open fire this evening. This is on the Rail Trail north of Gordon Pike maybe 0.3 to 0.4 miles, east and south of the Terrace Drive area. This is a significant hazard to the City property and neighboring private property. The fires need to stop and the camps need to be cleared out immediately before the homeless burn acres of woods, fences, sheds, houses, trailers -- anything in the vicinity could go up in flames soon.

This was reported as a fire hazard, and also being reported as a trails issue to keep the parks dept updated on the activity along the Rail Trail. Response to 189024 -- If the fires are happening daily at the homeless camp along the Rail Trail, and the fire department (MFPD) has been out twice this month, yet the fires continue, why would there not be an option to take some level of preventative enforcement action as opposed to reactive only that is not solving the underlying issue? This would be a daily call to 911 if people in the area called every time there was a large, illegal fire. Is that the best use of resources, as opposed to the City cleaning the area up, removing those illegally burning on City property, and preventing any future fires from being started by those illegally camping on the property? The City refuses to address the problem, the county has to roll a truck out here due to the City's inaction, and the adjacent property owners suffer. All to protect illegal activity!

The traffic calming bump outs and the new addition to the Weatherstone/Hillside intersection are causing traffic issues. The streets are not wide enough for two cars to pass each other and I've seen near accidents. Weatherstone at the intersection is not wide enough for two cars.

Thursday morning trash pickup was not completed on E Eddington Ct. Trash is still at the curb for the entire street.

Not a huge deal, but our trash wasn’t picked up on Thursday for both Eddington street and Eddington ct. we appreciate our sanitation team and look forward to removal when they return to the office!

I would like to request that this street light be fully shielded, so that the light is redirected toward the ground. It shines brightly outward, into my windows across the street (particularly during seasons when the tree doesn't have leaves), which disturbs my sleep. I have tried room-darkening curtains; however my sleep health is better when I wake to the sun. Thank you for your consideration.

This renter from Venezuela does not understand laws in America whatsoever. He stole my Son’s bike 4 years ago because it was not locked at the moment and he said in Venezuela if it was not locked anyone could have it. His friend almost killed me speeding through the 3- way stop sign at night. I don’t care if people roll through it but he was flying and didn’t even look. He now has a licensed motorcycle parked in the back patio. What if he hit or scared a pet or Child moving it to the back? It also invicites a feeling of impending crime ( stolen motorcycle). I want this report to remain ANONYMOUS.
