I live in Brandywine Ct in Bloomington and have had a disgusting smell in my water for the last 4-5 days. It smells like dirt and it tastes like dirt. From what I have read, this is because of algae blooms in Lake Monroe. Except all information says it happens every summer and fall. It's February and freezing cold. Why is this happening now? Any ide how long this will last? I just paid a fortune for dispensers and Brita Elite filters one week before this started. The Elite filters do nothing to remove the smell or taste.
Just the thought of why the lake smells so bad is nauseating. This day and age, there has to be something available to eliminate the disgusting smell and taste.
We can't drink bottled water because of pfas and pfos. So what are we left with?
Expensive water bottled in glass. Who can afford that on an ongoing basis?
Honestly, you cannot expect people to drink that disgusting water.

I went to retrieve my car at the 4th street parking garage last night after attending an event at the Waldron. When I got off the elevator on the 2nd floor I was approached by some disheveled guy who started cussing at me in an aggressive manner. I just turned away and went to my car. He kept cussing and got on the elevator.

Every year the snow guy for Happy Hollow comes and tears up our neighborhood. Should I clean this up? I’ve complained about him before when he tore up my driveway and this year I get this? My neighbor had a very large patch of yard torn up last year. We’ve asked him not to get so close to the edge and I feel like now it’s simply on purpose… not thrilled with the individual.

Hello,
My name is Ashley Walden, and I am contacting you today due to various potholes around the city. I live on the west side of Bloomington, and work on East 3rd street. The number of potholes I encounter on my daily drive to work has grown in number and severity. The patches on the road near Twin Lakes have sunken to an extent that I see drivers swerving left into another lane to avoid their suspension being further tormented from the continual deterioration of road conditions in Bloomington. Please take into consideration replacing, not just patching, areas in Bloomington.

There is no farmers market page that is available on Instagram or other social media you have to subscribe to a weekly email and there is no information easily available for each week or even the month on the city website. This needs to be rectified as it is very exclusive to only utilize Facebook. It also does not provide information to more people who are interested or for people who are not from town.

Parking lot changes have removed vehicle ability to go through side of western most parking area. Vehicles cannot turn around, and the parking lot striping is too short that vehicles now all exceed the length of the striped areas/spots. The parking space number has also now been increased on the western most covered area.

I just read an article stating that you are putting coconut powder in the water in Bloomington. I am SUPER allergic to coconut and I know others that are as well. I'd love NOT to have allergy attack just drinking water! I strongly think this should be changed! Please don't affect my health and others.
