Hello, If you are not the correct contact, would you please forward this as appropriate? I am a faculty member at the School of Education. I walk to work daily and need to cross Third St. at Rose Ave. Is there any chance of having a crosswalk at this intersection? It is often very difficult to cross with the sometimes long lines of traffic coming from both directions. Finding a break in the traffic and competing with traffic turning onto Third from Rose is often very dangerous. Also, since I walk on Rose heading north from Hunter, I am forced to walk on the road until I reach Third St. What are the chances of having sidewalk installed on Rose south of Third? do not enter sign needs to be larger ? drivers u turn to go westbound on 3rd st. I have had 2 close head on hits while entering the turn lane to cross 3rd to muller pkwy. i have had one instance where the car behind me (while I was at the stop sign on muller waiting to turn right on 3rd) where the car behind me went around me on the left and made the u turn to go west on 3rd. I have seen several drivers cut thru there to get into the Swifty.

The new light by the Chocolate Moose on Walnut going north is not in sync with the rest of the lights. You get through at 2nd then stop at the Moose. Go again just in time to stop at a red light at 3rd. Can it sync up?

I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest. Turning left (south) from W Jacob Dr onto Gates Dr is tricky. A roundabout at that intersection would help. Also, 2nd St/Bloomfield Rd needs a makeover like 3rd St got. The intersections with Weimer Rd and with W Allen St are problematic. These are problems you're probably already aware of. Sorry.

10th and Pete Ellis: would be awesome if there were pedestrian signals and a request button to cross 10th. In the evening, peds must wait for traffic to trigger the light so they can cross.

No signage notifying cars of B-Line trail. This newcomer apologetically backed all the way from the bridge over 3rd back to the entry from the convention ctr parking lot. Since the bars were removed, I've seen this a couple times. The Monon trail has a white stripe down the middle, which could help with this problem and with pedestrians veering into the paths of bikes (a big problem with kids.)
