Recycling

Hello! We got a notice for leaving our recycling can put past 24 hours of pickup, because our recycling has not been picked up for a MONTH? I do not think it is fair for us to have to pay any fine at all, as we put the correct items in the recycling container and it wasn’t overflowing. We left the can out by the street for 24 hours in case recycling came by later because we were not sure what was going on and why it never got picked up? I even sent an email about 2 weeks ago and never got a response!!! We are upset about this and would appreciate a response. Ticket: 62023-02-0428
Please take a look and consider appealing this. Thank you for your time.

Recycling was due to be picked up today, but was not. Not sure if others in my area have the same issue, but I set my can out last night and it was not picked up.

Tenants (over-occupied, BTW) have left bags of trash in yard. Wild animals can dig through them.

Tenants are storing trash/recycling bins alongside the street (11th). They should be keeping them out of sight (garage, backyard, etc.), as per city code.

Pothole in the middle of the parking lot. Absolutely unacceptable and should have been taken care of as soon as it happened. Got a flat tire and now have to pay for an all new tire!!!! In the parking lot of the CVS/Aldi plaza.

Is there any talks among city staff about this block on 4th street? Sidewalk on the south side has many spots of being un level due to tree roots while also missing bricks. The road really needs to be paved and have parking line painted in road so cars aren’t double parking at meters. Curbs need to be painted. Do I need to continue? Please go check for yourself and see what I mean. Bloomington starting to become a small version of Indy. Sincerely, IU student.
