Hello - there is a very loud phone ringing noise that originates at a car lot on S. Walnut Street (I think it comes from Royal Toyota South). I live about 2,000 feet away on Somersbe Place off of S. Rogers. I can hear the phone ring inside my house with the doors and windows closed. This is a rather annoying noise carrying over a great distance. Will you please work with the City and the car lot to put an end to this offensive noise creating a nuisance for everyone living within a given radius of the car lot? Thanks!

Hey Neil, Thanks a lot! It's heartwarming that you're looking into it, aging equipment not withstanding. Re: Kirkwood/Walnut...if you're in front of the Book Corner, or across from it in front of the Courthouse trying to get to the Book Corner corner, and it's you've just this second gotten the green pedestrian sign, you will not make it across during the green hand (or whatever the symbol is). Never. I'm really healthy and I can't get across before the pedestrian sign changes and opens up the car traffic. Turning cars are not inclined to watch pedestrians, they're distracted by oncoming traffic and timing their own turns. Thus, squashed pedestrian. Kind of you to take an interest, Neil. crows had attacked the back parking lot early Dec 17th. My wife and I cleaned up the back parking lot Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. On Tuesday afternoon I went to Lowes and bought two fake Horned Owls and placed them on my air conditioner units. The next day Dec 20th there were no signs of crow activity from the night before.

Two bags of garbage, one busted apart and the other still intact, are scattered on the south side of Winslow Road along Sherwood Green condos. The busted one has been there for a week. Thank you for looking into it!

775 n Smith always leaves trash cans next to road. Please have take them up. An even uglier commercial dumpster also always remains right there. Any City ordinance that says that needs to be fenced or further back to? Thank!

A water boil is in effect in the West Cascades Ave neighborhood. It would have been considerate to let all of us know instead of having to guess and start reading the herald times online.
