I was at this intersection for a long time on the evening of Dec 26 and I think the light was not ever cycling. People were giving up and driving through the red light because it never turned green.

Hello, we live in Sherwood Oaks and there is not a safe way to get to the biking trail starting on Rhorer at Walnut Street Pike. People are often walking or biking up the last two blocks of Walnut Street Pike to reach that connection. It's not safe. We'd be so grateful if the sidewalk could be completed on the East Side of Walnut Street Pike between Rhorer and Heather Drive. This would allow people to access Kroger and the Rail Trail more safely. Other wishlist items are paving the rail-trail that connects the B-Line and Clear Creek Trail,and extending sidewalks along Rhorer all the way from Walnut Street Pike to Sare (or at least to Benson). It would also be nice if the sidewalk along the East Side of Walnut Street Pike extended all the way from Rhorer to Winslow, but finishing a sidewalk on the E or W side of Walnut Street Pike between E. Heather and Rhorer is really essential to pedestrian and biker safety. We love all of the investments we're seeing Bloomington making in parks, recreation and infrastructure. We really value this as a family with young children. We're just surprised how patchy the sidewalks surrounding our neighborhood are, with some suddenly stopping (Walnut Street Pike + Rhorer) and others reworked only to a certain point (example biking from Winslow Plaza east to Highland or Allendale is challenging). This makes it difficult to access all of the new paved biking/walking trails that connect to the Rail Trail and B-Line. Street light - one of the few on our street- between my house and the house to the east has been out for months. Glendora is extremely dark without it.

The street light on the Eastern lot line is not functioning properly. A tiny amount of light is present, but not enough to light the street at all.

My street runs downhill from Dunn to Walnut. In our older neighborhood, there is no infrastructure to handle stormwater. So the drainage ditch in front of my house and 3 others is the only thing that keeps our street from being flooded completely in any significant rainfall. I maintain it by weeding and cleaning out leaves and litter, along with the culvert that goes under my driveway and can become totally blocked- despite the fact that the debris that blocks it runs down from every house uphill of me to Dunn St. I'm writing two request that this ditch be repaired, as it is full of holes and water is going under it, causing even faster deterioration. Although the ditch was installed by the prior owner and not by the city, it is doing the city's job here; it is handling stormwater and preventing street flooding. This ditch is a small and short-term patch on the major drainage issue in this neighborhood which needs to be addressed in a more comprehensive way soon. My basement, which never had more than a trickle of water for the 23 years I've lived here, regularly floods now. My uphill neighbors' eastern foundation wall collapsed in a rainstorm 2 years ago. Glendora runs like a river in any rainfall, and as you know, rainfalls are getting heavier and more frequent. I will take pictures to show that my ditch keeps one side dry so that the street doesn't flood all the way across. I would really appreciate some short-term help with patching and possibly putting a grate across the culvert, along with a response about a long-term solution. Thank you for any help you can provide.
