What the heck is up with this sidewalk repair? It's been torn up for almost a month! I would hate to be one of the residents in that area with the orange cones and equipment left in the street. With the decent weather we've had this winter, you'd think projects such as this would be completed quicker.
Greetings: I am the Director of the Farmer House Museum and I would like to address the safety concern in our ally that connect between Morton and College at 10th Street. I have a detailed video taken by our board member that shows the area of concern and safety. We have applied for an AARP grant to secure funding to repair and update the parking pad and the alley inbetween the Woodburn House and the Farmer House museum. At the Farmer House Museum we cannot repair the edges of our parking pad without the evaluation from the City of Bloomington. Thank you for your time and consideration. You can contact me at 812-336-5597 or purcellemily@ymail.com Emily Purcell, Director
Street lights in front of 529 N College is out. Duke Energy says it is not one of their lights.
The HVAC that serves the City Showers Building is increasingly getting louder. The sound level has gone from 88 decibels last week to 95 decibels this week. My office is the very most northwest location in the Showers Building and I can hear it through the office walls with a sound like the drone of a cicadas. I invite you to see how long you can stand on 10th Street adjacent to the Showers Building without plugging your ears to the high pitched screech of the City HVAC. I will likely swing by for public comment at the next available public meeting. Find the money in the budget to replace this nuisance please. It is truly upsetting those who work nearby it.
Hello, I submitted #183212 and received an email saying there was not address. Part of completing the form asks for an address so I don't know what happened. The address is 553 N Plymouth Road, Parkridge East, Bloomington, IN The access from the street to my driveway is breaking down and needs repair. Again, the address is 553 N Plymouth Road. I notice now that the address is gone from above. There seems to be some glitch in this auto environment accepting my address. Phone number 812-322-8605 and email sboardma@indiana.edu
